No leaks from mine. Have seen a few posts on here mentioning blocked drains causing wet carpet. May be worth a search. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

Sunroof doesn't leak. Drains can block.

I had a HSE with a sun roof for 3 years and had no problem with leaks. I did'nt get a sun roof in my present car because it was out of my price rang. Good look with your choise. 2013 hse auto, black, almond leather, exnon lights, factory privacy glass, exhaust finisher, rear boot spoiler, mud flaps. Body door side moulding and steps.

There was a sunroof recall for 07 models, worth checking it was done.

Yes I’ve got an SE with panoramic roof, no leaks even using industrial power washer. But rattles are another issue the norm is the centre part of the roof lining between the two glass areas, two clips that lock into the ultrasonic sensor housing and then into the roof crossmember tend to pop out of the sensor housing when the rear doors are slammed. I’m checking at the moment to find out if the clips have been updated, or another more robust method of adhesion. But when they aren’t located you get all kinds of annoying NVH issues. |

Can't say I've noticed any rattles - the single most common comment from passengers is surprise at how quiet the car is. Mind you, I do wish the roof opened further - all that glass and then such a small opening is disappointing. Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

No leaks or rattles. The opening is a bit mean - just a slot really. Sunroof on the Mini opens much more. Still I'd rather have it than not. I keep the blinds open to get loads of light into the car. |

No rattles here either. Blinds closed most of the time though. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

The roof doesn't but some of the older models (like mine) suffer from leaks through the high-level brake light. But this is easily fixable with either a replacement housing or some silicon sealer. |
