I don't know about you but I wish the LR2 had a clock in it that you could easily read. I find the one that is in (black background with clear numbers) very hard to read when standing still but especially when driving. Tony Fountain

If you've got the factory-fitted sat nav, have you considered utilising the space which would have been otherwise occupied by a windscreen or dashboard-mounted sat nav unit?

You'd be free to source a clock best-suited to your specific needs and could attach it to the dashboard using self-adhesive velcro strips.

I have one on the radio display which is black on green (black led of illuminated green display)

Apart from it been quite low on the dash console i have no problems

I tend to use the one on my wrist most anyway Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I think I've read somewhere in disco3.co.uk that the D3 had a similar problem. After many owners companing they made some new software and have the clock in the instrument panel (where the trip computer is). SO KEEP COMPLANING, maybe Tata will notice. ... ... ... ...

I find that with it being on the green screen in a black box with green numbers inside the box, it is all but impossible to read it driving at 110K. Add to that sunglasses on and it's "all over red rover".

Even if it could be made just black numbers on the total green screen would be better. Ideally, as suggested, it should be in the instrument cluster somewhere.

I agree, I don't much like the inverted display either - I almost crashed the other day trying to read the CD track name (very small letters when CD text enabled). Its not a very readable clock. - Mike

I had to chip in just to vent , I agree with all the other comments , the clock display in the audio system is a waste of time (so to speak).
Again , how can any of the designers involved in this car ever have sanctioned that type of display, given so much else is nicely done.
I agree if it was in the information display in the console it would be much better.

Just too add my 2 pence worth I remember the green screen from my brief test drive, It stuck out as an after thought that let down to the rest of the dash. I thought it was mainly because Im used to vw's and audis with either red or blue lighting which I prefer. But its only a screen so I accepted it. Shame though could be better.

The FL2 is really well designed, except the poor position of clock - and the flimsy fuel door: try opening it when the car is locked to see what I mean.

The position of the clock on the FL1 was ideal, all the occupants in the car could see it.

That is just the point. The lock is so flimsy on mine and several others I have tried.

I am sure that if someone wanted to gain entry to my fuel filler (whether to put in or take out), would be able to easily force open the so called locked filler door.

The lock is in the wrong part of the door mechanism.

With the filler door locked, I can open it without any force about 2 cms.
