it needs the suspension lowering to sit the wheels into the arches, looks like its on stilts at monment

No it doesn't. The overall diameter of the tyres are within 5mm of the originals so physically there is no more or no less arch gap.

maybe so but something looks out of kilter, tyre profile, aspect? i dont know At work

You got admit the FL2 is a good canvas to paint your own picture on, great on tarmac, surprising in the rough and puts a smile on your face when you drive. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

Probably going to be alone here...

Sorry Mav, I'm really trying to like it:

- I like the wheels
- I like the car
- I like the picturesque photo

But it's just not working for me, so I'm out. I think it's the suspension gaps. Embarassed

Thumbs Up

It was mine too, with my previous cars. Lowered and always wash by hand! The LaRo is more durty then clean, by carwash.

Just my opinion but the wheels you removed from the car looked far nicer mate.

I like the wheels but not the tyres do they do a larger diameter ? i know width ways they are bigger by 10mm maybe some more aggressive winter tyres would look good Razz

watch out for the curbs!!! When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car

Sorry, doesn't do anything for me. But each to his own, if we all liked everything the same, the world would be a boring place!

Sorry Mav, but I'm with the naysayers. The amount of rubber on your original sidewall profile looks far better than the low profile of the new 20's on the Freelander. But, that's just my humble opinion, each to their own I say!

Sorry Mav, everyone to their own and all that, but just not liking the look, its seems to have taken on the"Gangster"
look in a couple of the photos. I think the sum of two good parts, doesn't quite add up for me this time.

Sorry, but they are just too low profile. But then it's not my car.

goddammit, I am torn on these... because I really LOVE the chunky alloys, but they make the rubber around them look too skinny for the chunky car atop.. I will have to reserve judgment until someone gets a chunky set of rubbers in there too : )

Word of the day? - chunky
