My first Land Rover

Hi folks,

Here are some pictures in the German woods of my ride. I'm Dutch, but live near the German border at the German side.

Earlier I was 8 years customer of the local BMW/MINI dealer: I drove MINI, 1-series, 3-series and as last one a Clubman. So I was doubt between a FL2 and a X3... Rolling Eyes
I decide to buy an occasion FL2, because an all terrain car should be a Land Rover! When I like the idea to own a SUV, I'll buy a newer one next time. The previous cars were always lowered and tuned (the real thing, no shine)! Cool

The reasons to buy a SUV are the ownership of two Rhodesian Ridgebacks and a trailer for my company.

It's a standard HSE with Xenon, 18" rims, tow-hook and the only mod's I installed are lamp guards and orange bulbs in de sidelights.

Thanx! Thumbs Up

To be honest, I also looked and still do to Volvo XC70. Higher then a normal V70, lower then a FL2 but almost the same platform and capabilities.

I've been looking on this forum for a couple of months.
Next spring (April or Mai of 2013) we want to go to London by car. Now I'm searching for greenlane routes from Dover to London.

My other ride is an original Mini Knightsbridge

At picture on Dutch plates, but with my emigration it changes to German ones.

Scotland 2011 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Baltic Blue

Really nice photos - oh and the FL2 ones are good too.

Really like the Mini - great looking example.

The FL2 is the best car I have ever had - beats every SRi and GTE I have had by a mile.

Enjoy yours as much as possible..

Cheers

ATHRoss
