All you need now is some real mud and a few scratches and it will look like a real Land Rover Laughing

Only kidding, looks nice de- badged Thumbs Up , nice colour too, but then I am biased Laughing ______________________

I know, it was literally out of the box with bright shiny tyres and a fresh new smell - just a few hours after collecting from the dealer.

I just know that some Censored is going to bash it in Sainsbury's car park in the next few weeks

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 S Auto Santorini Black

Hi,

Yep it came fully badged:

'Freelander 2' & 'TD4 S' on the back - maybe I just want to hide the fact that is is 'just' an S - but I dont believe I need a label on the car to tell everyone what it is.

Has anyone seen any advise or pictures or service about doing something witht he chrome strip along the back - I would prefer something black.

Also - can canyone advise on a company near or around Surrey who can tinit my windows? How much is a good price?

I still just afford food but I am hesitant about spending over £100 on two strips of plastic for the side of the car.

Now 1 week in to FL#3 and absolutley love it. I don't think i will by a manual again. Got to get armrests now as well. Santorini Black 61 FL2 TD4 S Auto, Debadged, Retrofit steering wheel controls, Black side vents with smoked repeaters and chrome bulbs, Black side tubes, Mudflaps front & rear, Black & Silver LR badges front, back & sides
Gone - Zermatt Silver 57 FL2 TD4 S Man
Gone - Bonatti Grey 55 FL1 TD4 S Man

Give up food for a few days and buy the strips of plastic, it will make your trips to Sainsbury's cheaper in the long run.... My first FL2 sans strips collected lots of dings, current, avec strips, has not, touch wood...... Enjoy your new car! JT Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
Gone - A great 57 Plate, Auto SE, Bought Feb 2009, Roof Rails and Mudflaps added on purchase. Blue colour, anything but drug dealer black.....
