Tail gate lock playing up

Oh well the tailgate lock is playing up, so it is an evening of browsing the forum to find the cure!

I so wish my F2 behaved itself as well as my 17 year old Disco! 1998 300TDi Auto Disco, never to be forgotten.

There is plenty on here PR. Mine failed in the "closed" state. Was a PITA to access and change - dismantling from the inside. It's all on here. Good luck!
