If time is a constant, how are the years rushing by faster as I get older?

And a happy and prosperous New Year to all at Freel2.com. I hope that during 2008 some of you will make it along to the Disco3/RRSport joint outings.

I saw this the other day over on RRS. Sounds like an adventure, and they have put together a great itinerary, but I don't think i could afford it though. Though I did like your Iceland Idea, but the £1000 ferry ruined it Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

The ferry fare includes a 3 day stop-over in the Faroes on the way south as the ferry schedules between Iceland and Faroes and Faroes and Lerwick don't meet up. The trip involves ferries between Aberdeen and Lerwick, Lerwick to Thorshaven and then onto Seydisfjordhur on the same ship. http://www.allferries.co.uk/symril-line.htm

I worked there for a year and yes it is expensive - but if you go on your hols in your car the fuel you buy there is tax free, they gauge your tank on arrival and you pay duty on the fuel, then they give you vouchers to discount any fuel you buy there! The first spell I worked up there the country was "dry" when I went for a 2nd tour they had resinded the alcohol rules but made the prices so high that nobody could afford to buy it anyway! It was all done to appease the journalists covering the Regan / Gorbachov arms limitation talks! How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
