Radio AUX Input

I have a 57 GSE. When listening to the radio when the engine is off with AUX selected the radio turns off after a few minutes. I have to press the start/stop button to continue to listen to the radio. Is this normal or is there a way to keep the radio on when parked ?.
Thanks for you help

No it's normal, most radios now will work without the ignition on, but will only work for 15 to 20 minutes before they go off.

You shouldn't need to press the start/stop button, just turn the radio on by pressing the volume control knob. It should then stay on for something like 30 minutes, iirc.
