Choice :-Low mileage later year, higher mileage younger year

Hello
Please accept apologies if this has been answered elsewhere
I'm looking to purchase a second hand FL2 2008/2009/2010 HSE
Is it better to buy a younger car 2010 with 47,000 miles on clock or 2009 with 24,000 on the clock, or 2008 with 21,000 on the clock
I appreciate that condition of actual car will count for a lot
Thank you in advance

Given the above choices I'd go for the 09/24. Miles tend to do more damage than (a relatively small number of) years.

Lower miles is always a better bet as a few years wont make much difference on a young car

If your buying from a LR Dealer it won't matter too much as they should have the LR Approve Used Warranty on them, but ask if they have, don't assume it does

But my choise would be down to the amount of miles you do, and will it even it out

2010 with 47,000 miles on clock (Still a years warranty left? could they throw the additional years to make 2 for when this runs out)

2009 with 24,000 on the clock, not much changed between this and the 2010 so its down to warranty and preference and how much will be left in the wallet Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I would agree, go for the 09/24 if everything else is ok with the vehicle.

Of course the 47000 mile one could have already had its clutch, flywheel, diff and wheel bearings done, the others are just around the corner. Thumbs Up

Thank you for information so far
The purchase is private not a LR dealer

as it's a private sale then the warranty situation should be taken into account.

the 09 may have extended warranty ?

my view is the 10/47 has done too many miles for me anyway and would only consider the other two.
