We passed on the roundabout into Windermere that you can turn off and go over Kirkstone Pass, the town was very busy.

We drove up to Beatrix Potters house & Wray Castle after Windermere. Car was a joy to drive over those roads. The reg was a birthday present from my wife. Yes I know I'm a very lucky boy, so much so that I'm off to look at an RRS now. Poke it, Poke it, make it do it again!!

watch the brakes pads mind. ours has eaten a set in a year, 10,000 miles ish, unless the brake warning light is regarding some other fault. service tommorrow. this brake issue is mainly due to the car being driven as it should be , and possibly because its Mrs Georges first ever auto car At work At home "I can't always believe facts I read on the web" - Charles Dickens winner by default of the tractor vs caravan race |

I use Hunters too. Only downside is they tend to be about £3000 overpriced on their RRSs compared to other dealers on the LandRover used car search (for a comparable car). I think all autos wear brakes quicker than manuals & the RRS is a heavy car, but 10,000 miles is a bit quick. Poke it, Poke it, make it do it again!!

new pads fitted yesterday, discs are barely touched so no need for them changed, seems to me it had some dodgy pads fitted last time??, they worked very well though, I guess we will have to see how this set wear.

Didn't buy the RRS. Very, very, very poor spray job down the nearside. I could've done a better job with a spray can. I wondered why it was reasonably priced.
