Help to the clueless

Better start with Hi as I'm new here.. So HI Very Happy

know I have seen 07 plates going for not bad prices and low milage, but have seen younger 08 09 with high milage.. question is what is better older car less milage or younger with more and was there big changes from 07 to 09 plates?. I did test drive a 08 hse hence why I love it.

This will be my first so I would like it just right all help would be appreciated Iain

not really a definitive answer to your question as it depends on the individual car, how it has been driven, how many owners, how it has been maintained, etc, etc

I have an 09 HSE and it is has the eco stop/start, etc and everything you would ever wish in a car and has now done just over 20K miles.

if I were you I would look for a car like mine with an owner like me !!

hopefully you will have more replies and advice shortly

Iain

I would go for a model manufactured after February 2008, VIN 8H092006 or higher or better a 9Hxxxxxx (MY2009) or later.
There were a couple of things that needed to be fixed on earlier models.
But I don't say that even a MY2007 is bad. Just to be careful with its recalls and fixes. If they were made, then it's OK.
For a list of problems, please browse a little the forum and you'll see.
Or better, if you find some cars, please post here what you've found and we'll try to judge from there...
