Service history

Hi,

anybody here know if is it possilble to obtain full service history from a dealer if I provide them with VIN and the car was not serviced by them or was serviced in other country ? I know its not a problem on VW,Skoda etc. but dont know if JLR ? Thanks

You can get warranty repairs, claimed field service actions, date, mileage on these actions but not service history.

Tried couple of times still good to know what was done

You can buy a replacement service book & have the previous dealer stamp it. That's if you could find the org dealer or independent that previously serviced it. I did look at a previous LR2 that had a replacement service book, which was stamped by the org independent. No service history for the first 30k though. In the end went for my current LR2 with FSH.

You could also write to the previous owner & ask them whom they serviced the car with. Then have the garage stamp your replacement book. Landy has now gone.
