rattle from drivers door?

hi got a bit of a weard rattle comming from the drivers door when the window is fully shut the rattle starts seems to be round the door lock area if i open the window approx 1/2 " it goes any surgestions Question rainy-city

I sometimes get a similar rattle, seems to be temperature related in mine, but so far has not been bad enough to merit investigation.

Australia 2007 Freelander 2 i6 SE Auto Tambora Flame

I get the same on both the rear doors only.

I don't even have to drop the window a 1/2 inch, I just take the strain off the mechanism by depressing the down button for a micro-second. Then after a while it starts rattling again so I wind it all the way up and it stops. Rinse and repeat all the way to my destination! 1st time FL2 owner. 2007 SE i6 in Tambora Flame.

its in having some bodywork done under warrenty next week will ask the dealer to investigate rattle will let you know what it is when i find out Thumbs Up rainy-city
