Hello everyone. I'm just about ordering my replacement car (an HSE Diesel Auto, specs just like my 'old' i6's). Can you please give me some guidelines on delivery times? Last year I had placed an order in mid December and delivery took place in late March '07. Do the same delivery delays apply now as well? Thanks.

I placed an order six weeks ago and was told the vehicle would not be ready till 21st January 2008.

I wanted it for my birthday which is Jan 3rd, as the vehicle was not going to be ready in time I decided to wait for the new 08 plate 1st of March.

Not sure how long you will have to wait if you are wanting it delivered to Greece.

I ordered a FL version S last week (11th December) and I was told to have to wait 4 months.

I had an 11 week wait - ordered early October, took delivery last Friday (14th) although the motor was at the dealer the weekend before, but they had to complete PDI etc..

I ordered mine mid-September. Was told they hoped for delivery before Christmas, but no guaranties.
Well, now I hope for delivery in the beginning of January. 2008 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Automatic, Caspian Blue, Alpaca, Moon roof, Exclusive pack.

Ordered end of September, it should be delivered mid January.

Left you a note on the sponsorship thread before I saw this! Basicly you would be looking at the end of Feb if an exisitng stock order was amended.

To all those waiting for 1st March (inc me) deliverys dont forget its a leap year! one extra slow day to wait through. At least delivery day will be a Saturday

Chicken george, it's not bad for 2500$! I would buy it so that I don't punish my FL2 going to city center...
My only concern would be my investment (if you can call a car that) not to depreciate after Tata gets LR. I'm sure that Tata wouldn't like that either, so no worries!
