You know when your collection is getting too big when you look at the space under the stairs and think that'll make a nice custom gun cabinet |

I'm impressed Not really used a shotgun much, but used to shoot targets with air-rifles and .22 bolt-actions. But that's my limit, nothing really impressive compared to yourself. But, what is a FAC? Are dart guns literally for drugging animals or is there more to it? Harvey |

Yup a Benelli M2 in 7+1 so eight shots. For vermin and clays. (if you're going to get a semi might as well get a fun one.) Yes dart guns are for treating animals. |

not sure on the rules for ammo, but i place my shotgun shells in a large safe with digital keypad, not a legal requirement, but with kids about its safer Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Well what you have actually made is quite a good bomb. Don't know how many cartridges you keep but if you have a couple of thousand in there the powder charge adds up. In a metal box in the even of a fire that could be very nasty. I keep cartridges on an open shelf above the cabinet and full slabs under the bed. For FAC ammo it needs to be locked up but then the assembled ammunition is limited by your holding on your FAC. If you look at the boxes for storage of black powder you will see they are made of wood for this very reason. |

I know what your meaning, my safe can carry probably about a thousand carts, but i only buy 250 at a time, so after a afternoon shooting i'll have about half that left and that makes a lot of room for gases to expand
