Hi all. Noticed a few times today that the car's rev's dropped when I was in standing traffic. At one point I thought the car was going to cut out, but it recovered without intervention. It may be a dip in the rev's when a fan comes on, or A/C cuts in?

Mine went in a few weeks ago for the same problem and had new software update.

Well that sucks. It's not done it on my trip out this morning. Am doing a longer journey later on so will watch out for it. How much worse is your MPG? Nick Nick Jones Dog Behaviour Specialist www.alphadogbehaviour.co.uk |

Back and forth to work in stop/start traffic it appears to be about 1 - 2 mpg down on what it was before the software was updated but it could be too early to tell yet. I'll let you know what it's like after we've done our 1000+ mile round trip down to Worcester over Christmas and New Year. ______________________ 2011 Full Fat RR 4.4 TDV8 2012 FL2 SD4 Auto HSE 2013 Kawasaki Versys 650 |

Mine (TD4) does the same thing when queuing at lights etc. I've not bothered to take it in to be looked at as my previous car, a Volvo S60 D5 also did exactly the same thing under the same circumstances and never suffered any bad consequences. You'll be passing me then...I live in Bewdley nr. Kidderminster. I think I had it happen the once this afternoon during a 70 mile or so round trip across Birmingham. Will continue to watch it. A/C function etc. did not affect it. Nick Nick Jones Dog Behaviour Specialist www.alphadogbehaviour.co.uk |
