You have a known good vehicle. Swapping will get you an unknown. No gain in spec', both a GS model. Why has a vehicle still just in manufacturers warranty gone out of a franchised dealers network?

I would agree, if you want to buy a secondhand FL2 best go to a franchised dealer. same applies to any secondhand car in my book. Iain |

my only concern would be why go for a vehicle with an extra 20k miles on the clock ? If you want to change for an auto ( which is a very nice thing to drive) hang on a few months when the 2013 model comes out there may be an influx of trade ins 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Agree with Martyn B. Why go for a car with more miles on than the one you have, just for an auto? With the new upgrade there will be plenty current model cars about in the next few months and there will be better cars than the one you're looking at. |

lro/ mag last month had an artical in about freelander autos somthing like make sure that an update was done to the box so as it lasts more than 50k miles so check with landrover dealer that this has been done and when or its about 3k to replace the box if it fails they recon an auto box is only good for approx 100k new clutch is approx 900 pounds for a clutch rainy-city

I have taken on board what you all say and yes "you don't get out for nowt" I will stick fast for the moment. Yes, I would be going two years younger with the body and trim but theoretically two years older with the mileage. It was reassuring to hear you all singing from the same hymn sheet. |
