Made it to the Biltmore in North Carolina for an owners driving experience event. Only 6 vehicles participated so we had plenty of one on one time with the Land Rover crew. It was a great event even for my LR2. Although I had to endure the tease by the LR3 & 4 drivers that the freely is "not as off road capable". Of course all in good fun and to show them we made it all the way thru the course but taking different lines than the LR3's and LR4's to account for the limited ground clearance of the freely. Everybody came out very impressed as to how much the little LR2 will take on. General Grabbers AT2's tires did great also. Good day, great fun!

AWESOME photos Rainmaster! I'm thinking of doing the NC course this fall. Would love to try it in both an LR2 as well as a Range Rover to compare.

It looks like you had a great time. I'm going to be doing this course in the coming months. I hope my LR2 can make it through despite not having proper off-road tires. 2013 LR2 HSE LUX: 2.0L I4; Barolo Black, Ebony Windsor Leather; Navigation, Satellite Radio, Cold Weather Pack, Piano Black Trim. |

Just go and don't worry about tires. The LR staff at the Biltmore took care of taking us to places and lines that the vehicles would be able to navigate while still keeping it challenging. |
