2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e S Manual Stornoway Grey
Squeaky gearstick

Had a squeaky gearstick 6 months ago, took it back to garage and they greased some linkages or something and it was fine until a week ago when it started again. Any ideas? Only got 3 Months warranty left and don't want this to be a regular problem on top of the new clutch it will need every 20k miles. Thanks, mojo

Get them to do it again and ask them to do it properly this time. Known issue. Mine was lubed 3 years ago and has been fine ever since.

And you shouldn't be needing a new clutch every 20K mls unless your driving is needing some finesse or your pulling the weight of the world behind you.
