Trip

I have been working in the Netherlands for the last two months and I zeroed the trip before leaving home to make sure I can have a record of the company miles. Over the last two weeks I have been called away to Germany on three occasions on an emergency, which is a round trip of about 500 miles. I checked my mileage today and it is reading 135 miles. My question is, doe’s the trip reset after 1000 miles or am I in deep do do.

Yes.
It has that irritating feature of auto reset when it pings past 999mls or kph. At least her Ladyship's MY2010 does Big Cry

Your wife's the same sort of driver as mine. Me, I've never been over 999 kph. Well I have but not in a Freelander!

Whoops - sorry KMS not KPH.
Now in my post I was of course referring to the black button go the right side of the dash underneath the speedo. I cannot remember what the computer information centre does on the "TRIP" function. Does that also auto revert to zero once it exceeds the magic 999 Question
