Parking issue

It's actually not as bad as first appears as the beemer is a colluegues car.
We have designated spaces for five cars, one of the five is actually 15mm narrower than the FL2 so is impossible to use, we are having a battle royal with the landlord of the office complex over swapping places.
Sometimes we are forced to use other spaces, the car park level is not full and there are unused spaces but the hobby bobby with his flo jacket insists on leaving letters saying our permit will be withdrawn if we dont use the allocated space.

Is there a standard width for parking spaces or is it discretionary? Certainly a problem and as we all get older no doubt it will be more of a problem.

That's a handy document Andy, one of our spaces is bounded by a wall on one side, the other side has a concrete pillar that narrows the entry to the space, the space itself may be 2.4 but the entry certainly isnt as my car will not go into it, might help with our efforts to get re allocated. Thumbs Up

If you leave a space 3 ft wide next to your car someone will get their car in it, as I see it from the photo, everything looks perfectly normal Rolling Eyes Ive seen someone park and climb out the rear hatch before.
The cars are too big, you could get 4 Smart cars in that space sideways.
