Water ingress

Is anybody getting water in round the battery cover or through the wiper motor spindle? I am also finding water at the back of the bulkhead behind the battery! this seems to be coming in from the sides of the pastic trim below the windsreen. Whole trim does not seem to be sealed very well and looking underneath the vehicle there is no where for the water to drain? Dealer does not seem to think there is a problem! Is this a design fault?

Just checked in rain, water seems to be comming in from the black trim at the top of the bonnet to the side of the windsreen. to view, lift bonnet and check to right hand side where trim meets bodywork. can anybody tell me if this Is this sealed? Water runs down side of the winscreen then into the back of the engine compartment ie under this trim!
