I presume you'll be bringing your new lens along this weekend?
And it's a metal mount I believe?
If the weather isn't good, you might need f1.8 Big Cry
The plastic ones are very fragile and break easily.
Despite what Jessops say, you can replace then for about 3 quid.

10:30 Meet and have cooked breakfast
Nice drive
12:30 cooked lunch
Drive a bit more
18:00 Cockermouth castle bar, evening meal and drinks

2 1/2 hours I would think, lots of A roads. No panic, Nick can take some pics before we arrive up there, probably flatten the battery by 10:30 Laughing

It is a metal mount, messed with the lens quickly when I got in from work, really liking the DOF and images are tack sharp

Of course ill bring it along, and you can borrow it too if you like Very Happy Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
