As far as I know (from reading the website / manual) the option requires the electric seats with the memory function (standard on the HSE) unless you have that don't think it can be enabled.

On the HSE, firstly you selected reverse gear. Then you manually adjusted the mirrors via the push buttons into the position you require them to be in for use when reversing. Then when you go out of reverse gear the mirrors should then return to there original position you had them in for normal driving. |

You do need the electric seats as the mirror positions are stored via the seat memory button. |

OK I see, I have the electric seats, but no memory function. Thanks for the help. A bad days fishing is still better than a good day at work |

Use one of the six memory positions (three on each key) to leave the mirrors where you want them in winter. |

I wouldn't expect the worst of the winter weather to have any effect on the dipping mirrors but the Auto Fold yes, I dare say that could harm the mirrors with a heavy build up of snow and then have it freeze, i have not heard of it happening though, but the dealer needs to cancel that feature. |

All you have to do is set them to your chosen postion, put it in the memory, select reverse adjust the mirror to the same position and store it in the memory again. |

Martin The folding door mirrors on her Ladyship's FL2 have never frozen solid in winter here in these Swiss alps. Last winter was the worst on record for low temperatures since 1904. Her FL2 sits outside all night and even daytime temps hit minus 37°C. Just shoot some silicone spray onto the moving surfaces before winter starts and again mid winter. |

Old post I know - but just thought I'd share my findings on this today whilst playing with my IID BT. Auto dip reverse mirrors functionality is available to all even if you don't have memory seats! You don't even need electric seats! Simply edit your CCF to activate seat memory and hey presto you have auto dip mirrors 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)
