Some towbars need the bumper cut, some don't. My detachable witter does NOT need the bumper to be cut but the fixed LR does.

There is a module to plug into but its behind the plastic panel to the left as you look forwards the front of the vehicle. I'd go for a genuine 13 pin LR electrics module if i were you

Electrics are pretty straight forward if you follow this link i fitted mine to use with a trailer board for a rear mount bike carrier.

I stopped reading at that point, if you can't do it properly don't do it at all, scotch locks are an accident waiting to happen. |

I picked up a secondhand 13 pin electrics (inc. module) off the 'bay for £70 delivered -plugged it in, paid £50 for LR to program something and it all worked
