Cable Fouling A Coolant Hose - Worth A Look

All,

Something that you all may wish to check if you have a 2.2 TD4.

Whilst checking the oil & fluid levels etc and having good look round the engine compartment this afternoon (due in part because of a long drive to France next week) I noticed an electrical loom from the radiator fans fouling on a coolant hose in the area just in front of the gearbox bell housing. There’s slight marking on the hose but nothing too major. Looks like LR fit a protecting sleeve over the hose but this had slipped out of position.

Like I said, nothing major but worth a check. Mines a 2007 model, cable routing may differ on later models.

All the best,

Chris
