What's your preferred position ???

I've just upgraded to an iPhone 4s Cool

Looking at dash mounting it for use as satnav and charging and music etc.....

The 'Brodit' holder seems like the best option at the moment but do I locate it:

1) left of the stereo
2) right of the stereo (I think this might hit my knee!)
3) right of the steering wheel (next to air vent) & Not sure whether I will be able to see it there!!!

Also does the Brodit holder allow for having a rubbery case on the phone or does it expect it in the flesh - as it were Confused 2002 Honda VFR800

I was looking for one that mounts on to the air vent, and put it on the right hand side of the centre ones.if it was fitted to the left of the stereo I wouldn't be able to read it,as for putting it to the right of the stereo I can see it getting knock off with your knee.

Generally normal ones, but from time to time it's better to try new ones for diversity and fun...
Kamasutra could help and could be a good starting point. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

PS: Take care that with age some could lead to greater pains and therefore keep the Bengay at hand...

Much the same for me I am afraid... I have trained people to call back in a half hour if I dont pick up.

I wanted to "mount" the phone on the dash to use the "satnav" app - not make phone calls - don't make calls when driving - saves lives Thumbs Up

Went to Scotland for a wedding and I had a TomTom on loan, friend had a Garmin and both took us down a dodgy 'B' road whilst it was snowing - he had an iPhone with satnav app which worked a treat Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up 2002 Honda VFR800

I placed my Tom Tom mount into the cubby, which sticks well to the inside top using an adhesive dash mount
