Total Freelander 2 newbie here. I bought an 07 FL2 a couple of days ago. One of the two keys supplied is missing an "emergency" key and the catch to hold the key in place. The other is fine. Therefore I need to replace the housing. I bought a SH Fob in great condition but obviously cannot use it as you cannot recode a used one so I am told. However I would like to take the guts out of the broken one I have and put them into the case of the one I just bought. Has anyone got any ideas on how to open the keyfob for an LR2?

Also... Does anyone know if you can get replacement SATNAV software that gives a 3D view of the route like TomTom and other modern SATNAVs do?

Does anyone have any Idea about the SATNAV software? Do later models have a 3D look to the software like TOM TOM? If so is it possible to update to this on an 07 model?

hi,houndog.....not sure what your meaning about the 3d sastnav..if your wondering if you can get the same view as tomtom instead of the split view the just press the compass in the top left corner and the hit full screen...i think lol

Weve just got a new MINI and thats got 3D sat nav.
So I just follow the Misses in the Freelander works a treat
