Hi guys, could you help me out finding replacement parts for the handle and closing mechanism for the glove box.

Nope not yet, I was planning on taking it apart this weekend but it was too hot to be stuck in the car!

I had to have mine replaced under warranty,they replaced the whole unit...might be hard to find just the lock mech.. |

Just to update. I re-assembled the locking mechanism (not too fiddly) then as recommended elsewhere on here got a screw driver and just forced the U shaped latch that grabs onto the door/handle upwards very slightly. The door now clips shut perfectly. |

mine never shut tidy since the first day i picked my fl2 up,,,changed under warranty in march. Current: Freelander 2 GS, Orkney Grey, Factory fit privacy glass, design pack and Clearview pack. Almond Leather ,rear spoiler,rear mudflaps.my13.

I couldn't tell you the part number but a couple of emails to Duckworth Parts and a replacement part, three screws later and it's all sorted 2008 FL2 TD4 XS Zermatt Silver, Manual
