OK so its a common fault. The fuse had popped in the passenger footwell F25. Sorted. Replaced the boot micro switch anyway. There was no rubber sealant on the old one to prevent water ingress. Panic over - For now 08 FL2 GS TD4 Auto, Stornoway Grey, Adaptive Bi-Xenons, Ebony Leather, Heated Front Windscreen/front seats |

My tailgate has just failed. Switch on boot & key fob wouldn't work. Fuse keeps blowing, so off to the dealers on Thursday. Dodgy solenoid? 2010MY Freelander 2 HSE Auto
