TPMS sensors question

My 08 LR2 recently started flashing the TPMS warning light. After a visit to a tire (tyre) specialist I was told two of my sensors stopped sending out a signal (battery charge has drained). Question is. If two have exhausted their charge I have to think the other two will soon die out also (spare has no sensor fitted).

Anybody here knows how long thess sending units last for? Are batteries replaceable or do I need to fit new sensors? I am about to change tires so I would appreciate if anybody can offer their experience on this. Also, is there a way to temporarily disable the TPMS dash warning light? I tried to figure out what fuse circuit controls it to no avail. Thanks!
