United Kingdom

Well we parted with £55 at the weekend and now have some newcomers to the pond. We have an 8" sturgeon (sterlet), a 12" common carp (grey/silver colour) and 3 mirror carp (only small and grey/silver colour).

These are all dwarfed by the big sturgeon (sterlet) who is at least 18" and the big koi at about 15" but most importantly, they are more difficult for the heron to see. Particularly with the air pump blasting oxygen through the water that they can use as cover. Here's hoping this lot survives! LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
