eBay collections

Had my eye on an item just down the road from you, Collection Only it was on a "But it now" or bid, asked the seller what area it was as it was listed a Birmingham, they said Kitts Green, fine I thought, asked if it could be collected next morning as I would be passing through then, yes they said, but insisted I did the But it Now, which I did, after two emails asking for the address, finally sent an email saying that I could no longer collect the item as I was now out of the area, only to be told that evening when the address came that shouldn't have done the Buy it Now if I could only collect that morning, apparently it is my fault that she didn't send me the address

£40 postage is a bit steep, I would expect to pay no more than £39 for the discs with postage about £3
