I use a clear plastic strip bought from Halfrauds - for a couple of quid.

Pushes over the edge and i've used 'cold melt glue' on the inner edge to hold it in place - it comes with double sided tape - but doesn't really work that well.....

Moulded to the door edge very well too - in my opinion Smile

The only place I am likely to bump the door edge is when getting out of the car in the garage, to solve that problem I just fixed some foam pipe insulation to the garage wall. No chipped edge.

The easiest way to aviod ANY chipping/scratches/dents/trolley "I didnt use a trolley" bashes/scuffs/scrapes and general hormonal acts of wickedness and premenstrual terrorism is to BAN FOR LIFE any female attempts to hijack ones beloved vehicle.
There are many pro and anti death penalty stances in this country. I for one believe it should be reinstated for that henious crime of Marital TWOC. The suffering caused is unbelievable and many innocent FL2 owners have suffered for all too long!

Mind you, this has just cost me a brand new Citroen DS3 (frog crap) of which Petal picks up on the 17th of this month and I cannot wait as Im sick of effing hearing about it!!!

my mother in law always pushes/kicks the door open with her foot and the door sometimes ( quite often ) strikes the car parked next to her. ( never in my car BTW )

no matter how many times she is told not do do this she continues, Banging Head
