Hi, A few weeks ago i noticed a small tear in the side of my drivers seat and over a few more weeks it got bigger as it was in the crease on the side panel of the seat. this was driving me mad as every time i opened the door there it was.
Anyway living down in west cornwall I thought there would be no chance of getting this fixed without paying a bloody fortune to someone. But I did find a local chap and he took the seat out and took off the panel and re fitted a new one job done and all for £50 yes £50. what a fab job he has done. Its just nice to know sometimes things can go your way and not cost an arm and a leg to fix.

had a similar thing with the drivers seat in my 2009 freelander , thanks to the "wise guys" with all their knowledge on here was able to quote the lr service number ... and it got sorted straight away by the dealer..(under warranty )

also be aware that if you get creaky seats (if electric)your motors in the seat,or worm gear might be on the way out ,again mentioned to dealer all were replaced again under warranty

Were the mud is thicker, and the ruts are deeper.
(And we have the water to wash it off, and more on the way..! )
