Pinion diff bearings and courtesy cars

So, my car (MY10 XS) has lunched its
Pinion bearing on the diff. Pants. Only 33K miles.
My dealer offered to claim a contribution from land rover
Whilst the paramedics tried to put my jaw back on after
It hit the floor. Fair enough but in booking the car in for the
Work to be done it turns out that the first date with a courtesy
Car available is the 27th. Huh? That's pants.
So, I was wondering, what's the longest anyone here has had
To wait for a courtesy car?

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Caspian Blue

I was told 6 weeks for a courtesy car for a B-service recently, at a main LR dealer.
How much for the diff repair then ? FL2 2007 57 GS
D2 2005 Td5 - gone and not missed
FL1 2005 Td4 - gone and missed

6 weeks! Good grief

As for the diff repair, "£600 plus" according to
The dealer. Urgh.
I'm a tad worried that any problems with the diff can
Put strain on the Haldex. Can anyone comment?
While I'm at it, I'm meant to be driving to Teesdale this
Weekend. Is it ok to keep driving the thing? It's a tad noisy
But I haven't noticed any adverse effects otherwise.

Stuart

Ps. Apologies for formatting. On iphone.
