Never had a problem with Milenco Grand Aeros, but don't over tighten them, if you over do it they start to slip, never lost one yet and have the set for over six years now. |

I have an earlier set of Milencos with simple clamps and strap. Which seem to work ok. I see on the bay you can get alternate clamp pads for the Aero type to fit Freelander 2. see "MILENCO AERO TOWING MIRROR REPLACEMENT V PADS - PACK OF FOUR". I guess they will do the business!

Have had no problem with Milenco Grand Aeros which give a superb rearward view. The car mirror does need marking so that they can be positioned in the same place each time due to the curve on the the Freelander mirror casing. I did this with a piece of black insulation tape so that edge of it lines with the inner edge of the inner clamp. Remember there are never problems, just new challenges |

I have the rubber strap type and they stay on fine for me (need to be quite tight though). Brian
