United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HST Manual Sumatra Black
FL2 HSE audio head unit failure

Afternoon all,

I'm hoping somebody can help! This morning the head unit in the Freelander 2 has had a rather odd failure. The LED display is off, but you can power the unit on, eject the current CD only and only play the CD in that tray. You cannot change to another CD in the changer, you cannot forward / back a track, you cannot swap to the radio or AUX, and the bluetooth integration for the phone doesn't work either.

I would have thought that none of it would have worked, so this is an odd one. Having a look in the handbook it appears that its only 1 fuse for the unit, which I would assume is OK as the CD plays and we can adjust the volume.

The SATNAV is not affected and works fine.

Does anyone have any ideas, or does it sound rather terminal! If so, does anyone have an idea of cost for replacement.

Regards

Ric
