LR experience

Did the off road experience in a FL2 this morning (we bought one 2 months ago) at Luton Hoo. Simply astonishing what they can do do. As you can imagine, the area was a quagmire with all the recent rain, but it coped with everything, even on what are essentially road tyres. The fords we went through were as deep as FL2's can go though too.

I'd be interested in more detail on what the Luton course is like. I've got vouchers to use and am not sure whether to go to Luton or drive up to Rockingham.

As per my thread linked in previous post I thoroughly recomend Rockers! Luton is I believe much more artificial as in made of concrete whereas Rockers is a big muddly hole Very Happy

I looked at the info on here before I decided which one to go for and I was not disappointed with my choice.

The Luton course is very small, and a mix of concrete banks, and earth and rocky mounds. Involves going round several times, and opposite directions, but does fully show off cars capabilities (particularly in the wet at the moment). Fords are about 3 miles away.
It was our nearest, so just convenient. They are going to be extending it, and if in a Disco/sport/RR, they have some additional rut features which are too deep for the FL2 with non-air suspension.
