No problem. In the "Auto" position the headlights will only come on when the fob is in the dock and the ignition switched on.

This was one of the things registered as a possible cause for a flat battery a while back. In theory leaving them on auto makes no difference, but in practice I always turn mine off "just in case". |

I have been told that you must double lock your Freely, this then shuts down all the modules that are waiting to receive commands, there are many modules that remain active whilst in standby mode draining the battery, locking puts them to sleep. |

I don't think the auto wipers operate with the ignition fob removed.
