My left mirror started a loud squeaking yeasterday and shuddering when open and closing. Has anyone had this before? will contact dealer today but thought I'd ask. cheers SD4 SE Orkney Grey

Markus, If you unfold the mirror normally and then manually push it further forward as far as it will go - don't worry, it's the Land Rover recommended fix for this problem! - you'll then be able to lubricate the internal mechanism with a silicone spray. Move the mirror back to it's normal position by hand, and then close and open as normal with the remote. This certainly cleared that problem for me about 9 months ago, although I suspect it may need repeating in time as the lubricant wears off. Hope it helps.
