I have not posted much for a long time.

I have had dealing with a great chap at Land Rover Customer Care center, About a good few weeks back
( His name is the same as a american actor)

The Problem with my car has been talked about a lot on the site ( My car is a manual !!! )
And I do know how to drive, ( 15 year in the motor trade and 500,000 miles under my belt I have never replaced such parts in any of my other cars, under 225.000 miles)

So I reported the problem for the second time to LR, who at first told me the car was to old for them to loose sleep over !!
After I enplaned in more detail about the problem there said they would look into it,

And try to there word they Did, The problem is now sorted and they paid a % towards the cost,
(Not as much as I think there should have ) , But The car now feels great, and I can now over take other cars now plus it's better on fuel,
It,s just a pity the freelander 2, Manuals need such parts every 30,000 miles, may need to book it in again in 2 years time, By then there may be an up grade which doesn't cost the earth .

Well done To Land Rover Customer Care center Keep up the hard/good work, you have rebuilt a lot of faith in yourself and my Freelander

As I said I drive a manual (not an auto) The parts in between the engine and gear box are the weak link !!

Have the put a gagging order in you or something are can you not remember what the part is
