I have had this problem for some time, but it seems to be getting worse, I think it will have to be a visit to the main dealer for a fix, may be expensive but this condition is driving me round the bend. Freelander 2 SD4 hse Lux Loire Blue, side steps and roof rails fitted |

I've got the same problem and the car is booked in for thursday so i'll let you know the outcome. Luckily enough my 10 year old BMW with 138,000 miles on the clock is still going strong, including working wipers, so at least I am able to get about . . . . . FL2 HSE Auto Galway Green

For an emergency apply some of that Rain X stuff on the screen, you dont need wipers then on the move, at least it will get you home, although if its not raining you may have to stop and clean the filth off occassionally by hand. |

Contrary to popular myth, there is nothing wrong with BMWs when it is snowing you just have to have the correct tyres on for the conditions and that ain't summer tyres ! FL2 HSE Auto Galway Green Evoque SD4 Auto Blue. FL1 HSE TD4 Manual Black - Gone. RR Classic V8 EFI - Gone |

Pedro's right! Last winter in Belgium in thick snow, the local BMWs with snow tyres were having no problem at all. (Neither was I, of course!) |

Got my car back today - ' wiper mechanism motor ' was replaced under warantee and all seems to be working ok again ! They also did the following ' work ' whilst my car was in: 1. Re-positioned the steering wheel to accomodate knuckle draggers............................... 2. Set the clock to 00.00.................................... 3. Re-configuered the ' plipper ' buttons so the lock and unlock work completely differently from before.......................... 4. Re-positioned the seat to accomodate dwarfs................................... Bring on the rain...........................!! FL2 HSE Auto Galway Green Evoque SD4 Auto Blue.
