I don't have a key for mine, so just leave it on! |

Depends which tow bar it is, if it is a genuine LR bar they are supplied by Brink/Thule. There should be a plate on it letting you know which it is. Thule are in Nuneaton if you Google it you can get the number.

Try asking Dan at Duckworth Parts (Site sponsor) if it's possible to buy replacement keys he'll know. He can also probably supply the wheel arch cover as well.

If it is the Genuine one it, the ball and reciever are held on with two bolts, you can remove it that way, then try and get some keys, it may be worn anyway so you could then get a new ball and receiver with new keys. |

Thanks for the advice, I am going back to the seller first but my pessimistic side is leading the way. |

Andy is no longer at Thule, the guy that has taken is job is not so helpful, they supplied me another towball and receiver at Christmas to replace the third replacement worn one and more or less said, that's your lot we won't exchange any more.

I discovered that when I had a replacement tow bar assemble from Landrover the keys were identical. It was either coincidence (which I doubt) or the keys are all the same. Shame of it was that I threw the old key set out 2 weeks ago, but only after testing them in the lock to fathom out which set were which, & thats when I found out they all fitted & locked & unlocked the swann neck. |
