I'm new to the site but on my second Freelander.

Having been happy with an "07" SE TD4 Auto in Stornaway Grey for a few months I'm really happy with the "11" plated HSE in the same colour fitted with the 19" Wheels, Windsor Leather amongst other things.

The two things that I'm not so happy with are;

The damage caused to the rear bumper whilst parked at Southampton Airport this week, to be fair to the operators of the car park they did check the CCTV but nothing. I'm getting it fixed this week but all it needed was a note saying sorry!

The second small issue that's appeared after around a 1000 miles of driving is a "creak" (the car has almost 11K miles on the clock) from the drivers seat and I'm really not that big! Has anyone else had this problem and how did they fix it. I know it's under warranty but any help would be appreciated.

Yep, I've had that problem on my MY11 GS at 4k miles

Gentle acceleration away from roundabouts, junctions etc or a change of direction resulted from a ‘low down’ creak. My dealer had the car for two days and fitted new seat base and runners, but after 200 miles or so the creak was back. I took the car back, and they asked to keep the car for a couple of days to locate and fix. However they couldn't hear the creak I described, BUT they took my word for it and fitted a (full) brand new seat. It's been fine ever since

I had this in my MY11 GS, main dealer wanted it fir 2 days to investigate after failing to fix it during recall.
I took it to Team Valley service centre who sorted it under warranty first time. I think they said it was slightly off the tracks?? MY11 Fuji white Td4 150 GS straight up no mixer.
