Something to aspire to

This was on Oxford services this morning, the driver was quite chatty although very defensive over the interior, which was also very heavily cloaked with camo bits, he was extremely gaurded about me going anywere near the windows.
I asked before taking the pic and he was a little nervous but OK as long as the number plate wasnt shown.
It will be interesting to see in August what all the fuss is about, up close it is obvious that the shape is heavily disguised with extra panels under the plastic.

No, its the new Range Rover, I think the new Freelander will still be a pencil sketch in someones drawer.
He didnt leave it unattended, I have airbrushed him out, he stopped in a quiet area of the car park and was looking under the back end, diff probably knackered Laughing he drove off soon afterwards and exited at Gaydon.

I'm really pleasantly suprised by that shot, it just looks like a Freelander 2 XXL, rather than a pumped up Evoque. The last disguised Range Rover that I saw a picture of, it looked depressingly like an even fatter MINI Countryman...

They don't want you to see that front end, looks like they have gone to great lengths to hide the Grill and Bumper.

I agree with DizzyKnee and Tigger. Looks like an FL2 with an extended back end. Perhaps the J-Lo edition! 2013 RR Evoque Pure Tech

They used to just cover them in matt black film as a disguise, the latest designs are specially created to prevent people from using photoshop to "re-create" what it will look like.
Quite clever, it also fools the cameras autofocus if you simply try and get a quick snap.

There have been test mules knocking about with less camo on than that one had, he was obviously trying something specific as he was going up the M40 at various speeds and the car seemed to be wandering about inn the lane, whether the test driver was doing this or not I have no idea. I went past him and he caught back up at Oxford services, on the car park he got out and was looking under the rear of the car?
