Radio / cd code

Just wondering if any one knows how to get the code for my radio/ cd in my fl2 I think that I might need it as I'm having a handsfree kit fitted and I'm thinking they will have to disconnect the plugs on the back of the radio when they fit it I've just spoke to the service dept at my local dealer and they want ten quid to get it off landrover and I've got to show my v5 can't believe it they sold me this car and my previous two freelanders so It's not like. Indeed it does not need one, I uprated the battery before winter, so total disconnection of power. Radio fired up first time Thumbs Up 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

England

Just had a new battery fitted on mine, no code for the radio required.
I know vehicles are getting complicated and the Tech seems to use a lap top more than a spanner but when they fitted the battery the Lap top came out, it seems that your Freely needs to be told that a new battery is fitted as it automatically partly discharges the battery to keep it in a better condition, also boxes on the laptop were ticked depending on the options fitted.
