after reading the other threads on which oil to use i am confused

in the owners manual it states for DPF fitted engines use Castrol meeting the specs below

Use only 5W-30 oil
meeting Ford 934-B
specification.


the only oil i can find with that specs a is, which castrol oil can i use?

Hi, the make of oil is just what Landrover recomend, It makes no difference which make you use as long as it comforms to the specification laid down by landrover. Follow this specification and you wont go wrong

For a DPF fitted engine, like you said, yes, it's the right oil.

just been down to the local Halfords as they have oil at half price but there was NO 5W/30 C1 oil, tried Autosave and thankfully they had some 1995 P38 now dead

Just for info Opie Oils spec for the C1 oils (Diesel with DPF)
