My colleagues son (19yrs old Aaron ) is being treated for cancer and has been for some 18 months His Dad Fred is going to drive a 1954/5 Fegusson tractor from John O groats to Lands end! This will take over 2 weeks.
We have had some leaflets printed to direct people to the website in the hopes of a little sponsorship
I have put 50 leaflets in each enverlope and if you can assist by placing these in your work place or a local shop then please drop me a pm with your address and I will get them off to you.

Always nice to do things for charity. I raised £250 for Epilepsy Action last year from a sponsored walk in the grounds of Chatsworth House. In 2010 I organised an event at work which involved me dressing up as Spiderman for Children In Need and we raised £370.

19 year old Aaron goes for his scan results tomorrow after battling for nearly 2 years against the awful disease.
It needs to be a good result if The Christie are to continue trating him otherwise it will be palative treatment only.
The Christie do exceptional work and thats the reason for the charity event.

SWMBO had Thyroid cancer in 2004 so I feel for Aaron and his family - I hope he gets a good result

We were in pieces for a long time but eventually you pick yourself up and realise life is not a rehearsal and you make the most of it. They told us they caught it but we go for scan every December and blood test every June and we keep going forward - you don't look back
