Colour coded wing mirror covers

Seen some on Fleabay in STORNOWAY Grey. Any one purchased? At £50 thinking they might not be the correct colour and poor quality!

Remember to tell your insurer if you fit them if you only had the black plastic ones before.

ammer - I don't see what year your car is.
if it's 2007 - 2010 (+/-) then the part number of the top mirror cover correctly colour coded in Stornoway is LLR004837, in Jan last year I paid £61.34 for the pair. Ring Dan at our sponsors Duckworth or LPR London.

If your car is newer, then the complete mirror assy is different, so the part no. changes as the housing is a total re-design and you don't add a cover, you replace the actual housing from non colour to colour coded.

Hope this helps Thumbs Up

Appreciate the feedback.

The one's on fleabay stick on and cover the whole fascia, but the fact that these are a geniune LR part is more appealing.

How easy does the cover come off?

If your talking about the old style (my cover type) then how easy to come off depends on how you fit them in the first place. Mine are fitted with double sided tape plus a few sploges of evostick silicone sealant, they ain't coming off Laughing

For the new style mirror housing, can't really help other then there's a link somewhere on here from the company that makes them...was if powerful UK ?

Check that the seller is of good repute. There's a big industry in nicking colour coded mirror covers and reselling on e-bay. Last weekend here they did two Fords, a VW and my wife's Astra. Apparently it's a major problem for Astra owners. Haven't heard of it happening with Landys yet but it's possible - they nick yours and then you buy them back on e-bay.
The chav who got ours even managed to damage them both when he took them off.
